ECOline Tubing

ECOline pipes are made of a high thermal resistance polyethylene PE-RT

Pipes dedicated to radiant heating are equipped with an EVOH anti-diffusion layer, and are produce as a 5-layer (5L) and 3-layer (3L) construction.

ECOline potable water pipes

ECOline PERT  are a high quality tubes intended for creation of potable water systems.

Thanks to utilization of PE-RT polyethylene of increased temperature resistance and product high elasticity, tubes are comfortable to install even at low temperature.

Maximum working parameters:

  • 160 psi at 73°F (11 bar at 23°C)
  • 100 psi at 180°F (6,9 bar at 82°C)

Pipes are compatible with fittings according to standards:

ECOline radiant heating pipes – 3 layer (3L)

ECOline PERT 3L are a high quality tubes intended for creation of radiant heating and cooling systems.

Tubes are made as thre layer (polyethylene PE-RT – adhesive – EVOH oxygen barrier). Thanks to utilization of PE-RT polyethylene of increased temperature resistance and product high elasticity, tubes are comfortable to install even at low temperature.

Applied EVOH anti-diffusion layer guarantees oxygen permeability, 5L structure protects the EVOH layer from mechanical damage.

ECOLine radiant heating pipes – 5 layer (5L)

ECOline PERT 5L are a high quality tubes intended for creation of radiant heating and cooling systems.

Tubes are made as five layer (polyethylene PE-RT – adhesive – EVOH oxygen barrier – adhesive

– polyethylene PE-RT). Thanks to utilization of PE-RT polyethylene of increased temperature resistance

and product high elasticity, tubes are comfortable to install even at low temperature.

Why PE-RT?

Are we choosing inferior properties by opting for PE-RT technology?

The answer is a decided NO – this newly developed technology of manufacturing provides the same performance as classic PE-X technology, and also – the life of the products used in the installation does not end with the demolition of the building.

The recovered material can be reused in consumer products and in line with the idea of recycling – what is currently not possible with the PE-X technology.

Comparison of physical properties PE-RT and PE-X pipes

The above table shows that when using the 5L technology and the latest generation of PE-RT material, the specified working pressures in various application classes and diameters are the same both for PE-RT and PE-X pipes.

High and low temperature heating installations

application class 4 and 5 as per ISO 10508– comparison PE-X and PE-RT

As you can see above, the situation is the same when comparing the pressure resistance of PE-RT and PE-X pipes in both high and low temperature heating installations. Both comparisons self-evidently undermine the stereotypes common on the installation market about the higher pressure resistance of crossed-linked PE-X polyethylene pipes when compared to PE-RT pipes.

** Values based on material data for modern PE-RT material and 5L technology.

PE-RT is ecological solution for plumbing

When creating new solutions, we also think about the future – the service life of solutions and conscious and responsible waste management.

PE-RT is our declaration for the future.

In highly automated manufacturing processes, is used modern technological

solutions that minimise energy consumption and make it possible to generate

increasingly lower environmental impact.

Production methods and technologies – negative impact

and threat to the environment and health.

PE-RTPE-X
Energy savings in the production and processing of granulate. This technology does not require additional “reinforcing” treatmentsYESNOPE-Xa, PE-Xb: Additional energy expenditure for the production of the chemical additives making it possible to cross-link and wash out the residual chemical cross-linking additives PE-Xc: Energy to produce the electron stream necessary for cross-linking
Recycling and disposal fully possible, plastic to be used after its life cycleYESNORecycling not possible due to cross-linking.
Disposal possible only in the form of storing or incineration (CO2 emissions)
Full hygiene and safety, no processes harmful to health and environmentYESNOPE-Xa, PE-Xb: risk of insufficient flushing out residues of chemical additives which represent a real health hazard
